My friend Lynn (some of you may know her as the Kristen that I grew up with) was in town briefly and we got to spend a couple of hours with her at the Mall of America. I hadn't ever met her husband or little girl before, so it was a huge treat for me. Derek seems really nice and he's a very good conversationalist. Asha had been cooped up in an airplane all day but was still a pleasure to meet. She's ridiculously adorable with those bright blue eyes and becoming blilingual too.

i've never heard about this girl lynn/kristen. and why are they teaching their daughter to be bilingual? is one of them from a different country or are they living in a different country? where?
They're living in California, but Lynn was a Spanish teacher until she had Asha.

I'm surprised that Ella has never heard of me...you mean to say that you NEVER talk about your FAVORITE childhood friend? hehe. Allison and I have known eachother since we were newborns! Come to think of it, you are my oldest friend. Not that you are old, I mean that of all my friends, I have known you the longest!
