This is how much rice I found in a box more than double its size. I admit that it's my fault for not checking package weight. But still: the company is either purposely trying to mislead me or it is purposely wasting packaging. Not cool, Uncle Ben.

I paid $1 per pound for rice at an Asian foods store. Go to the masters of rice for the best deal. I did buy Basmati (I'm not sure if they carry brown), but I like Basmati so much more anyway. Anyone who wants to try some Basmati, let me know because I have an extra 9.8 lbs left!
