Weight Loss Wednesday

Total This Week: 0.5 pounds
Total Since Start (2 Weeks): 2 pounds
  • This week was a little disappointing because I have been exercising really hard. I ran 13 miles in seven days, lifted weights, did push-ups, played volleyball, and did Pilates. I limited myself to one sweet snack a day, although I was a little bit on and off with the two bottles of water a day.
  • On the positive side, I took out a bunch of pre-pregnancy jeans that I hadn't fit into 10 pounds ago and they fit. I can tell a difference in the way all my pants fit. And since October, I have lost over 35 pounds (and one small baby that accounted for it, too!).
  • Maybe it's muscle mass?

I can completely relate! I think that developing muscle mass must have something to do with it, though. How else do you explain working your tail off and the scale not showing it?! Plus, if you're feeling great and your clothes are fitting better, those are definitely accomplishments! Way to go!

You really should do measurements because as you work out more the weight may not change as much because you are getting more muscle, but the inches/size may! It may make you feel better about how hard you've worked!
