If Amelie had been our first child and Elizabeth our second, we would have gone into second-time parenthood very unprepared for how un-sleepy and demanding a baby could be.
We also would have had to buy a new wardrobe for the next baby. Amelie gets much dirtier than Elizabeth ever did and I don't think her baby clothes are going to make it to reuse!
