Brrr!

I took Amelie for a run this morning. Since it was 38 degrees, I felt pretty warm but I bundled her up well. This was my first successful run with her in the jogging stroller! We only went for 20 minutes, but I feel really good about getting out and doing it.

Me: "Amelie, is it cold outside?"

Amelie: "Brrr!"

We ran on Pierce Butler Drive right by our house because it was flat and straight. It was a truck route, which entertained Amelie. However, after the big trucks would pass, we'd feel a wall of wind. I didn't notice that the wind carried tiny grit until we got home and I saw grit stuck all over Amelie's face! Poor kid! (Makes me not want to wonder what usually ends up on mine!)
