I haven't been running very much since the very, very cold snap (in December? Not good) due to ice, freezing conditions, and slush, but yesterday I got out with my dad. It was the perfect winter running day: 25 degrees, no wind, sunshine, and the snow was packed but not wet or icy. On days like that I always wonder why I don't run every day! When I run with my dad, we talk the entire time, which really makes the time go fast. Here's to more winter runs, Dad!It helped that we went running in Shoreview, not St. Paul. The St. Paul sidewalks and streets are horrible!
