Isaac and I have had the same mattress since we got married, so almost 7 years. That's not bad - pretty new even - except when you consider that we were given it used from someone who said it was so old she was embarrassed to even give it to us. It accomplished its purpose, but was hugely sagging in the middle and was too damaged to flip.My parents gave us a new mattress and boxspring for Isaac's birthday! It feels bigger, even though it's just a double, because we don't have to roll to the middle unless we want to. We had a great night's sleep last night, and I am so happy.

Wow, a double? Geesh, we have and Eastern King and sometimes that seems too small...like when Asha is perpendicular between us and Derek is snoring like a truck driver and the cat finds my neck the most comfortable place to sleep.
