Backpack Upgrade

Since I've been putting Amelie in the baby backpack around the cranky dinner hour most days and we plan to use it frequently in hikes this summer, I decided to upgrade from our $10 used backpack with a broken clasp. I found this beauty at Once Upon a Child. It has mesh panels so we don't get as hot and even a sunshade to protect Amelie in the summertime! Look at all those straps and buckles! I'm pretty excited about this new toy.

I always loved the idea of baby carriers with Elizabeth, but she never stood for them. It's fun to have a baby who likes them, because it sure makes life easier with two!
