I was talking with Isaac about some friends of ours (married with no children) who packed one backpack each and are traveling together in Thailand. I said, "Just the two of them against the world - how cool is that for their marriage?"
Isaac was nonplussed. He gestured to Elizabeth and Amelie. "It's just the two of us against the two of them - also an adventure."
That wasn't quite what I meant!
