Busy Week

It's been a crazy week here. All the special things of summer fell in the same seven-day stretch!

Monday: Elizabeth's road trip to Fergus Falls to see Sound of Music
Tuesday: My volleyball league's championship game (we won) and the whole family stayed up late to watch
Wednesday: Aquatennial Torchlight Parade - the first year we've let Elizabeth go since it ends at 10:30

Friday: Elizabeth got to spend the weekend down in Faribault with Isaac's family, Isaac went to a conference in Kansas City, and Amelie and I went to my parents' friends' cabin in Brainerd

So that's why I haven't been posting regularly! I'll make an effort to get back to normal.

Here are some pictures from the Brainerd cabin.

Amelie was a complete Grandpa's girl all weekend long. Me too - Dad and I went for a six-mile run together. But by the end of the weekend, we were calling it an eight-mile run!

Sometimes Amelie looks so big, and then she reminds you that she's still just a little baby.
