My friend Mandy blogged about going without her wedding ring due to needed repairs. With that in my mind, I decided to pop in a jewelry store to get my ring inspected too. Sure enough, I had a broken post that was clearly visible. I left the store without my ring, but in a few days (and $20 and another trip out to Maplewood) I'll have it back safe, sound, and in no more danger of losing my stone!
