Nerdiest Thing You've Done?

I just finished alphabetizing a list of authors that Isaac and I enjoy reading. For fun. I also have computerized lists of places we want to camp, books for Elizabeth to read as she gets older, lesson plan indexes, holiday ideas, and (embarrassingly) so much more.

I don't know if that's the nerdiest thing I've ever done, but it's got to be up there.

You?

Come on, indulge me!

i once visited my cousin's school with her when we were visiting my grandma's house in the summer (they start school in august). I got really bored sitting there in class so i started squaring each number starting with 2. by the end of the class i had one entire notebook page full of numbers (about 4 columns).

I played an online text based game where you would have to read everything instead of see graphics. For example, it might say something like "You are standing in a beautiful wooded glen with sunlight streaming through the trees. A terrible ogre moves at the center of it, unaware of your presence. Possible exits are north, south, and east".

Then I can type north to head north and see what that room looks like, or I can "attack ogre" to start killing the ogre.

Of course the game was way way more involved (and fun) than just that. But that was pretty nerdy.

I'll sometimes pull up my computer thesaurus, type in a random word and then just click on synonyms to see how far I can go and to learn any new words.
