1 husband out of the house 13 hours with appointments
2 baths for dirty children to remove caked-on sunscreen and sand
3 poopy diaper changes
4 high chair deep cleanings (finger food has its blessings and curses)
5 loads of laundry folded and put away
6 times that I re-shelved books thrown onto the floor
7 different kinds of vegetables sliced, steamed, and diced
8 times I wondered whether I could justify ice cream yet
