We set up our Christmas decorations this weekend, which is one of my favorite things of the season. (My other is the Scott family carol sing, coming up this Saturday!) (Oh, yeah - and the Holidazzle parade and the Macy's exhibit and seeing Christmas lights and baking and giving presents...) The best part is that we taught Ellie to plug and unplug the Christmas lights so we don't have to crawl under the tree and piano this year!
We bought Ellie a little tree for her room, too, since I have so many happy memories of getting a tree in my room growing up. (Actually, my little tree only bit the dust last year.) She was very intense as she decorated it, and carefully set Wolfie up to watch. It's so much fun to share Christmas with her. She thinks the Grinch was mean because he didn't know God.

wish we had a kid around our place to unplug the christmas tree lights...
how cute! the grinch story - if he were real at least she'd be right! you guys have done well with her!
She has a Wolfie? I have a Wolfi!
"The Grinch was mean because he didn't know God." Isn't that what Dr. Seuss was saying? Maybe not, but Ellie's wisdom is right on.
so fun
