Opa got down on the floor with Ellie to let her pet the cat with him. Annie piled right in. It was pretty cute. It's been fun to watch Ellie's relationship with Opa develop over the years. Back when she wouldn't go to anyone, she used to be pretty afraid of him. Isaac thinks it was because Opa has a deep voice and Isaac has a higher one. I used to take a picture every time she let him hold her! Now it's commonplace. He often takes her to go see the horses or do some other thing, and she talks about him often.

Cute Thanksgiving Picture

that is so funny! i used to do that to my grandpa. i would go to my great uncle Jay (who looks identical to my grandpa) but not to my grandpa. the only thing they could think of was that Jay had a higher voice like my dad's and grandpa's is lower! craziness!
Does Annie have a previous name that sounds like you are heaving when you say it? (scrapping ladies know.)
