How do all of you develop your photos? I usually use Sam's Club because it's so cheap (13 cents for 4x6, 34 cents for 5x7, and $1.42 for 8x10). The problem is that their website is horrible. I frequently experience problems and have to redo my order, often wasting several hours uploading and editing. They also make me re-edit all the photos I have already edited online. Even though it's a huge pain, I have a hard time arguing with the low price.
Do you have anything equivalent? I want to upload and order online, and I want to be able to order larger sizes easily (at Target.com, you can only pick up 4x6s at the store - if you want bigger prints, you have to pay shipping). Finally, I want my dad to be able to download the photos to his computer without having to order them (which I currently can't do at Sam's).

You should talk to my wife about that since she does almost all of the printing in our house. I know you want to do this online, but one option is to put the photos on a USB drive and take that to a printing kiosk (there is one in our Cub foods). You would have to wait while it all printed, but it is still pretty cheap (I don’t know prices off the top of my head, but I think it is just as cheap), and you don’t waste time with re-doing orders online.
As far as getting the pictures to your dad, I think you could use something like Picasa to do that.
We have been using snapfish.com for several years now. I do the pre-pay form to get the prints down to 8 cents/picture, plus shipping .. I am not sure what that adds up to though .. I typically order a lot (80-100) at once and it is 5 - 6 bucks. I do my editing on the computer via Picasa and then upload them to the website from there. Once that is done I share the pictures with friends and family. Downside is .. they must make an account, costs nothing, to view them. There is also a charge to download back to a computer, but your father could order from your album as well. Hope that helps!
I never print my photos. They're all on my Mac and backed up on an external drive, plus I usually put the good ones online at Picasa Web Albums or on my blog and/or Facebook.
