That's one reason I LOVED The Incredibles. First intact family in a while.
I've never really thought of this before, but after reading your entry I could only come up with 6 Disney movies that have both parents...so I decided to to see if Wikipedia had anything to say about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_mothers#cite_note-3

Well not everyone has the perfect family of mother, father and sibling. Take it from me. I always empathized with several of those characters, and they helped me deal with the life I was given on many occasions.
