Like Mother, Like Daughter

Elizabeth wrote me out a list of poems. Among them were such goodies as "I love you. Tie your shoe." and "If you think, you will stink." My favorite, however, was "Mom met with Tom."

I like it because I kept the pages of poems I wrote when I was little, and one of them was "I love Mom, even with Tom!"

(Just for clarification, there has never been a "Tom" in either my mother's nor my lives!)
