We found lots of close parking and tons of private family dressing rooms. Bring your own lock to use in their free lockers. The lifeguarding was among the best we've seen: five lifeguards on contant duty, frequently rotated and on careful alert.
There were three pools. One huge pool was used for open swimming. It had lap swim across one side, basketball hoops and a floating log to climb on in the shallow end, and a diving board and plunge slide in the deep end. A second pool was the receiving pool for the two huge waterslides that coil along the outside of the building. Both slides were very fun, but you had to be 48" tall to ride them. The third pool was a very large zero-depth kids' pool with two small waterslides (Amelie loved them with help and they were too small to entertain Elizabeth for long), a big waterfall to run under, and lots of shooty-water things and splashy things. There is also a sauna, plenty of comfortable lawn chairs, and a cheap concessions stand.
Our family had fun for hours, although the water was a little cold for my taste. It tired Amelie out so well that she conked out in my arms for close to an hour: a rare occurrence that absolutely made my entire week!
I thought this waterpark was very comparable to Shoreview Community Center at a much lower price. The downside was that you cannot see the children's pool from the open swim pool, so you have to stay together as a family or be willing to split up out of view from each other. Give it a try!
