Amelie was running and fell, hitting the corner of her little white art table on the way down. We got the bleeding stopped, then called her clinic, who recommended that we clean it out and put butterfly tape on it.
We couldn't get the cut to line up without gapping, so I brought her in to the doctor, who sent us to Children's Hospital to get stitched up.
A mere 6 hours after the fall, Amelie is back home with 4 stitches, lots of Bacitracin samples, and a fistful of stickers for being such a tough cookie.
She was a very impressive little trouper, hardly crying at all and waiting patiently for all the doctors. Here's hoping for a two hour nap so that both of us can recover!
