Flexibility

Elizabeth: "Grandma VanLoon is very flexible for a great-grandma, isn't she?"
Me: "Yes, I suppose she is. What do you mean by flexible?"
Elizabeth: "Just that she's really good at walking around and stuff for a great-grandma."

Note: Grandma VanLoon is actually very flexible for a great-grandma! She sits on the floor with the girls all the time. And she's very understanding of crankiness and children's behavior, so it is comfortable and easy to spend time with her. I don't have to worry if the kids spill or make a lot of noise or distribute her knick-knacks all over her house (not that my perfect children would ever do anything like that!!).
