"I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

It's That Time of Kid, Already
It's toilet-training time. It was an accident. Last week Amelie had a diaper rash, so I let her run around the house in her nothingness to expose it to air, figuring I would just clean up whenever she had an accident. Well, she never had an accident! She has been making it to the potty most of the time for a week now. I keep waiting for it to regress, but so far we are still making forward progress. I guess I didn't give her enough credit.
I forgot how much work it is to toilet-train a child. Oh, my goodness! When you're not cleaning up an accident or doing the laundry, you're sitting on the closed toilet lid, talking about potty. And talking some more. And waiting some more. And sitting some more, waiting and talking. And this is when it's going well!
