- If I wear two pairs of socks, running tights, regular athletic pants, a tech shirt, Isaac's warmer running jacket, a hat, and gloves, I feel great in 8 degree weather!
- Running uphill on an inch or two of loosely packed snow is very similar to running on sand.
- Icy sidewalks require the same concentration as trail running. In addition, you have to maintain momentum, not slow down or speed up, and definitely don't change directions or you'll slip! Isaac went down hard once a couple weeks ago, but he runs on much icier days than I do. So far, so good for me.
- St. Paulites do not plow their sidewalks very carefully.
- It's still way better than running on the treadmill!
"I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24
