I just ran for the 4th day in a row. Admittedly, none of those has been fast, and none has been over 3 miles, but I'm on the road again and my shins don't hurt! Woo-hoo!
Today I loaded up Sam and Amelie in our newly fixed-up double jogging stroller and ran a mile to the library. A short field trip ensued, and then we ran back. Thus began my dream of running or walking almost everywhere this summer.
Thus also crushed my dream of running or walking almost everywhere this summer. There is no cargo space in the double stroller, so I had to wedge the library books between Amelie and the edge. No room for full bags of books, or groceries, or Target runs. Bother!
Elizabeth's running club at school starts tomorrow. Isaac and I will alternate chaperoning and staying home with the little nappers. I haven't told him yet, but I get to go first!
Elizabeth and I have been out a handful of times since the weather has started warming up, and she is so much fun to run with. Yesterday, we went on a 2 1/2 mile jog together and hit 4 playgrounds on our route!

wow.. I'm really impressed by Elizabeth. And that you run with 2 little ones. I don't know that I would ever attempt to run behind the stroller!
Rachel stole everything I was going to say. Definitely impressive!!!
