After the award ceremony, she came home and ate 4 slices of pizza to celebrate!

Race Day!
Elizabeth's school Running Club culminates in a mile-long race. This year, 190 kids participated! Elizabeth set a lofty goal for herself to finish in the top 20 of the whole school. We won't find out if she met that goal until full results are published tomorrow, but she set a new personal record of 8:38 (over a minute better than last year's race) and took home the medal for fastest first-grade girl! We are very proud of her because she worked so hard and tried her best.

Fantabulous! I'm getting worried that I won't be able to keep up with you on the 5K in a couple weeks, Elizabeth. Go easy on an old man, okay?
Way to go Elizabeth! The funny thing is I heard about this from Abe first...hehe I like hearing stories from work ;)
