I realized I hadn't posted pictures for quite a while, which is because I haven't taken any pictures for quite a while, which is because I got all pictured-out at the scrapbooking retreat in February and haven't had any desire to scrapbook since then.
However, I did find these pictures hidden away on my computer. I took them when Isaac and I told my parents we were pregnant. (We had to write it down and show them, since we didn't tell Ellie for quite a while after that and we didn't want her to overhear.) My mom was clearly very excited. My dad took his role of pretend-nothing-is-happening-so-Ellie-doesn't-notice very seriously and dealt out the bridge cards.
That's pretty much exactly what happened the night Isaac and I got engaged too. (He'd asked their permission that morning, so it wasn't exactly a shock.) We drove over to their house that night to tell them, and my mom reacted similarly and asked lots of questions and my dad said congratulations and went back to his ironing.
Sometimes I don't know who I'm more like. Am I passionate and emotional or very controlled and not as emotional? (I think the second, but what do you think?)

I vote very controlled and not so emotional. :) I, on the other hand, am the exact opposite!
