We had an encouraging appointment with the midwife this week. The baby's head is VERY low (of course, Ellie's was too, and for weeks ahead of when she was finally born a week late) and I'm dilated to at least a 2. So that's good. We're ready anytime!
The hospital bag is packed. The diaper bag is packed. We even put a plastic bag in our new (used) diaper pail today. The baby wipes and newborn-sized diapers are open and ready. The Boppy is out and ready for nursing. IT'S TIME!
(Would someone just tell this to the baby, please?)

I'll be praying for you, Allison. I feel like the last few days of pregnancy are amongst the most difficult emotionally and physically (at least they were for me!)and it is especially hard as you just want to KNOW when that precious little baby is going to come. It sounds like you are enjoying your one-on-one time with Ellie. What an awesome way to spend these last few "pregnant days." Have you resorted to running up and down stairs yet? :)
AWESOME, Allison!
Need a bumping down the stairs lesson? :)
Maybe if you get Ellie to ask her sister nicely?
I'm praying for you that all will go smoothly and happen quickly.
