Elizabeth may be named after Isaac's mother, but Amelie is the one who takes after her. The family loves to say "Beth always looked for dirt to sit in," and I can say with authority that Amelie does too!
Amelie's favorite activity of this afternoon was to climb up the neighbors' dirt hill and slide back down on her bottom. Then she'd grab handfuls of it with her bare hands and smear it on the sidewalk. I even found some in her diaper. It will be interesting to see how her clothes look at the end of the summer!
I've packed the first aid kit in the diaper bag now, and I'm planning to put an old towel and an extra set of clothes in the van. Anything else I should do?
