If you want to go to Cub, you really should go to Aldi first (to see what you can save money on).
If you go to Aldi, you might as well go to Target next, since it's between Aldi and Cub.
If you buy lots of groceries at Aldi, Target, and Cub, you need to unload the groceries.
As you throw away some bags, you notice that dish soap leaked all over the floor of the cupboard, so you clean up the dish soap.
After the dish soap is cleaned up, you start to put away groceries in the refrigerator, and you notice that a package has spilled onto some shelves.
As you clean the shelves, you decide you might as well do a thorough job, so you take apart the shelves and drawers and give everything a good scrubbing before you put away the rest of the groceries.
As you put away the spices you bought, you have to re-fill all your spice containers.
Since you've been working for so long, the baby is no longer content playing with water and bubbles in her high chair and demands lunch.
So you feed the baby lunch.
And all of a sudden, you realize that your entire morning is gone.
And that was my day.

Oh girl I so hear that... I found myself cleaning under the stove this week when I was already cleaning in a hurry before company arrived. But you know how it is - you stumble into these things...
LOVE the "if you give a mouse" cadence! hopefully, you were able to read one of the books to your kids later to "relax".
