Half Price Books offers a summer reading program called Feed Your Brain for kids ages 14 and under. Each week that the child reads 15 minutes or more on five days, they will give that child a $3 off coupon, which can be applied toward a larger purchase or used on its own! The child can earn one coupon a week until the end of July.
To participate, pick up a sheet at any Half Price Books location. I asked if non-readers like Amelie could take part too, and the clerk said he didn't know why not. This translates into a lot of free books throughout the summer! Good luck.
