New babies are springing up everywhere among our group of friends (congratulations, everyone!). We are particularly excited about one little answer to prayer, baby Sam. He is the newly adopted newborn of one of my best friends, and I get the privilege of taking care of him full-time when my friend returns to work! (Oh, I am so lucky!) Isn't he cute?
Amelie is pretty enthralled by Sam, too, which is good because she's going to spend a lot of time with him coming up! I have never seen her sit so still as when she was holding him.
Sam is an answer to lots and lots of prayers. God has even worked out every little detail of this childcare arrangement.
He happens to be the son of one of Amelie's favorite people, too! She looks pretty great for having been up until 5am on Sam's first night home!
