Amelie watched me pack for Breezy Point, so her new favorite thing to do is to pack all her precious objects (and books, and socks, and underwear, and my things, etc.) in bags and carry them around the house. One time, I asked her where she was going. "I not going anywhere. I packing!" I guess her imagination isn't quite there yet.In a similar vein, she blanked out on the word "look" recently. As she watched Sam stare at her, she invented, "Sam eye-ing me." I was proud of her creativity, until she amended, "I not know what eye-ing means."
