Tonight, for miles 496.9-500.0, I was accompanied by Elizabeth on her bike, Amelie in her jogging stroller, and Baby Oma on Amelie's lap. We celebrated with Popsicles in the front yard. I texted Isaac at work. It felt a little anticlimactic.
I'm trying to get up the nerve to set an increased speed goal for next year, but I'm not quite sure I'm willing to commit to consistent speedwork. Running fast makes me feel like I'm going to die. We'll see. For now, I will simply celebrate this milestone!
