Maybe I've been doing too much cleaning and simplifying. As I sorted laundry today, I commented that I only found one of Elizabeth's socks. She immediately cried out forlornly, "Oh, please don't throw it away!"
Also, when she finishes an art project or brings home yet more papers from somewhere, she asks, "Where can I put this that you won't throw it away?"
At least my husband hasn't been complaining. (He's a good guy.)
On the good side, we finished the last batches of cookies and bread that I've made, so now I can make more! And I hear my poor father hasn't gotten many desserts lately, so maybe I can make that a little project, too! (I see chocolate cake in my future. And applesauce bran bread.)
